I was retired for more than 2 years, and I have returned to the server with more desire to play than ever, but I must admit that this server has lost a lot of emotion, since the feeling of this OTS, was saved among all the old players, that today are not online, the truth is that now I think the server has improved, but if players are missing because of the errors of the updates, the truth is strange to return to Play as before, those colleagues miss, the way where we all helped each other, and the wars,


I hope to see the old players, friends and enemies of those times, I know they will make the server a little more fun.

I defiently agree with you Luxex, the server have lost it's glimpse that made it exciting to play, with many players and a much more friendly community 2-3 years ago than it is today. To me it feels like the staff have given up the hope and now let's it run out with meaningless updates and 0 effort to make it better by listening to their community. A few "old players" recently quit because of the lack of balance for all classes and the pure dmg from some. Sad to see staff doesn't listen when it's needed.

I miss the old wars much more than the wars going on now. They can't be fought in open area anymore but always have to be in a tactial spot where you can outplay the enemy with your game knowledge. 8.6 Was the best that's ever been in my opinion. Hope we can see a change to the pvp system that's currently in the game.

Personally I like the recent updates more than the previous ones. The fails (imo) is when suggestions are sent and then implemented without looking at the other side of the coin.

Basically the suggestions aren't necessarily bad.. but, they're implemented in the wrong way due to not hearing the whole story of why "x" thing make "y" happen.

But this isnt just the staff's fault. As Melaina mentioned, the community has changed a lot which makes it hard to leave suggestions and feedback in order to improve the server when literally 90% of the community just troll around.

I keep playing and I hope that this server will be the same as before, for the sake of the knowledge we have, that the old players will return, that vocations will be the same, and that there will not be 90% of magicians, I hope the little world of xerazx returns to do what it was before, because I never knew an OTS, like this in its previous time. ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽

The ot is long-time dead by now. The best times were all way back in 2014-15 and even earlier. Basically when tibia 9.83 was the version of xerazx. Now noone plays as I've noticed.

I miss the days where a double freeze was necessary to kill your opponent and fights would last a few minutes even without stair hopping. With that mechanic being removed, the PVP got much worse for me. It feels like damage scales way too much now, which removes the "tactical feel" of fights that last a few minutes because everyone dies in a few seconds. Although not sure how it is on higher rebs and how much it changed from a year ago.

With the removal of double freeze you have to kill an opponent in a single freeze, which is basically a stat check. Oh I can't kill you in a single freeze even with my best combo? Guess we'll just keep exchanging freezes and neither of us will die. Not fun at all.

I get that grinding MDC for rebs was added to slow down the higher rebs, but like I've said many times before, grinding for MDC is some of the least fun I've had on this OT. I feel like if there was no forever aol it wouldn't be a problem to have super high rebs as they wouldn't be able to abuse lower rebs.

Botting shouldn't be disallowed, all it does is kill the population of the ots, people play on an ots to watch numbers go up and pvp, back in the days of this ot being 8.6 people would bot but they couldn't bot 24/7 due to moronia being contested, other players were the "anti bot" , it didnt even take me a day to figure out how to bot on the current client (i mean current current, 17/01/2019).

When we moved on from 8.6 it killed the ot because 9.8 or 9.6 added literally nothing to it, apart from mounts and many bugs. Whats the point in playing an ot that literally got downgraded? I cant think of a feature we have here right now that couldnt be possible in 8.6 apart from the mounts and monsters i guess.

Whatever though, it'd way too much effort to bring the ot back to 8.6 unless the admin has a backup and is willing to spend a lot of time to port some of the GOOD features that were added (eg new spells and areas) Or just simply put the backup of 8.6 (if he still has it) online and see how it does and work from there.

I genuiely enjoyed the switch to 9.83. It didn't kill the OT, it's just that some of the older players didn't like the changes. But truth be told is that the most players online (record), was during the 9.83 era.

What ruined it though was later patches/updates applied. Which basically turned it into a pay2win/grind server (VIP being the best hunts and MDC mandatory).
Unlike before it felt like changes was added/applied without any concern for the future or newer players.

The final death blow was the PVP changes. While the double freeze had been gone for awhile, it was still enjoyable to fight. But the latest changes simply removed all the fun. It doesn't even feel like highexp anymore. Everything that made highexp, "highexp", got tossed in the trashbin.
